Uluru

This morning we headed out to the airport to catch a 9:00 am flight to Uluru. We had a very pleasant flight and were met on arrival by one of the guides from Longitude 131, our accommodation for the next few days.

After a good sleep last night and a very early breakfast, we hopped on a bus to head to Kata Tjuta ("The Olgas"). The 36 domes that make up Kata Tjuṯa cover an area of about 22 square kilometres.

After thinking that we'd be only outside for an hour or so in sleeping bags on our verandah, we ended up staying out all night.
