Over-indulging in Los Angeles
Today we had a very relaxed time, getting up a little later than usual, and then heading out to do a bit of shopping.
Late in the day we felt a bit hungry so, even though we knew we’d be having a big dinner, we stopped at In’N’Out Burger for a fabulous burger and fries. Delicious!

After enjoying our burgers, we went back to the hotel to get changed for dinner at Maude, one of two restaurants run by the Australian chef, Curtis Stone. The drive to Beverly Hills took about 45 minutes, and we managed to park right outside the restaurant (which is very unassuming from the exterior).
We had an incredible meal and Maude; certainly one of the best we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a lot of great meals!)

It was nearly midnight when we left Maude, so the traffic back to Pasadena was relatively light.
Tomorrow, we’re flying home so we’ll just spend the day relaxing and packing, and then we’ll head to the airport.
