Today we awoke to another lovely sunny day in Rio de Janeiro.

We had a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, before heading to the airport around 11 am to catch our flight to Buenos Aires.

We got to the airport in plenty of time and had a light lunch in the lounge before boarding the plane.

The flight was very pleasant and before we knew it we were in Buenos Aires. (The flight was about three hours long but we both slept through a fair bit of it which is probably why it seemed to go by very quickly!)

We were greeted outside immigration by a guide who took us to our car and travelled with us to the hotel. She provided a bit of information about Buenos Aires along the way, which was nice.

We checked in to the hotel and went upstairs to get organised. We had room service for dinner, since we need to be very organised tomorrow morning and we wanted to get an early night. We have already put our suitcases outside our door tonight to be collected and loaded onto the bus for our 4am departure tomorrow morning!

There’s not too much else to report from today since travelling from Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires took up most of the day.

We’re not sure about connectivity on the ship so the updates over the next 11 days may be a little sporadic; we’ll see how we go!
