South America and Antarctica
Back in Ushuaia
Despite another fairly rough night at sea through the Drake Passage last night, the phenergan tablets we took last night seemed to do the trick so we had a pretty good sleep.
We rounded Cape Horn at about 9 am this morning and, as expected, it was a bumpy ride. The swell did eventually drop away as we got closer to Ushuaia but the ship was moving around a fair bit for most of the day.

We didn’t do too much today. We spent most of the day just relaxing and eating before dealing with the inevitable: the packing of our suitcases! We eventually packed after dinner, just in time to have our suitcases collected in preparation for our shore transfer tomorrow morning. We need to be ready to go at 6:45am tomorrow morning, which is going to be a bit of a shock.
Tomorrow morning we fly back to Buenos Aires, where we will spend the next few nights.
