This morning we indulged in a lovely sleep-in. It was a little before midday when we left our room. Keith started with a few shots of espresso in the cafe and then we headed to the Compass Rose restaurant for lunch.

Conscious of keeping our fluids up, Keith started lunch with a Baileys on the rocks!

We have been so busy on this cruise that this is the first time we’ve made it to the Compass Rose restaurant for lunch. We knew we would not be disappointed.

After a fabulous lunch, we decided to go for a walk to burn off a few calories. It turned out to be a very short walk because we got distracted by the ice-cream station!

Having devoured our ice-creams, we headed up to deck 11 for some exercise around the ship’s walking track. We didn’t get far before meeting up with another couple from Melbourne and stopping for about 45 minutes to talk to them. We then did one last lap around the ship and headed back to our room.

After briefly relaxing in our room, we got ready to go to tonight’s pre-dinner entertainment, a show called “Krew Kapers”, put on entirely by the ship’s crew. It was a lot of fun.

From the show we went straight to dinner. We had booked a table for four tonight because we were dining with our friends, Jeff and Penny. (And, graciously, they were happy to tolerate each course being photographed!)

It was after 10:00 pm when we finished dinner. We said goodnight to Jeff and Penny, and we headed upstairs to the theatre to catch the end of the evening performance, a show called “Tuxedo”. We only saw a couple of numbers and they were fantastic.

After the show finished we headed back to our room to retire for the evening. We’re at sea again tomorrow, so we’re looking forward to another relaxing day.
