We were up and organised reasonably early this morning in preparation for our trip out to the Barossa Valley.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast before setting off mid-morning.

Our main reason for visiting the Barossa Valley was to meet up with our very dear family friends, Miffy and John, whom we haven’t seen for many years. On the way to Miffy and John’s, we stopped at the beautiful Henschke Winery, where we sampled (and purchased!) some lovely wines.

We enjoyed catching up with Miffy and John, and the afternoon disappeared in no time as we caught up on years of conversation.

We said goodbye to Miffy and John around 5:30 pm and headed back to Adelaide. When we got back to the resort, we opted for a very casual dinner.

After dinner, we were in bed pretty early. Tomorrow we’ve got a six-hour road trip to our next stop, Dunkeld.
