We had a (relative) sleep-in this morning, getting to breakfast around 9 am. Despite being a little cold today, the weather is relatively clear and the view across the water is very pretty.

We enjoyed a very leisurely breakfast, reflecting on how much we have enjoyed our time here.

We checked out mid-morning and hopped in the car for the drive back to the airport, in the town of Kingscote.

We stopped for a fabulous lunch at a very cute little restaurant called So Sando before dropping off the car and boarding the plane for the ride home.

The flight home was very pleasant and the approach into Melbourne afforded great views of the city.

We landed in Melbourne around 3:45 pm, having thoroughly enjoyed our time on Kangaroo Island.
