We had a fabulous sleep last night, which we clearly needed.

We went upstairs to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast. We ended up having breakfast with a very nice couple from Geelong, whom we’d met on the cruise.

We spent most of the day relaxing in the hotel (and catching up on the blog!).

We had a beautiful lunch at the hotel’s restaurant.

Late in the afternoon, we decided to go for a walk and do a bit of shopping.

It was about 6:45 pm when we started to contemplate what we’d do for dinner. Since it was such a beautiful evening, and the atmosphere in the area was very lively, we stopped top eat outdoors at a pretty restaurant on the walk back to the hotel, where we had a very enjoyable meal.

Over dinner, we chatted to a very nice British couple on the table next to us and, before we knew it, it was after 9:00 pm.

We headed back to the hotel, where we admired the nighttime view of the Acropolis before retiring to bed.

Tomorrow we’re flying to London in the afternoon, so we’ll probably just have a slow day before heading to the airport.
