We felt the swell overnight last night as we sailed northeast through the Norwegian Sea. Nonetheless, we slept pretty well, and enjoyed a sleep-in and a very leisurely start to the day. We decided to prioritise sleep over breakfast!

We caught up with Peter and Joy for lunch. The swell had picked up a little more, and we decided on a fairly light lunch (although it would have been lighter without dessert!).

We spent the afternoon just relaxing on the ship. This is day 34 of our trip, so a slow day was probably overdue. Plus, the sea was still a little rough, which curbed the enthusiasm a tad!

At about 6:30 pm, we caught up with Peter and Joy for a drink, before heading to the restaurant for dinner.

The public areas of the ship were rather quiet tonight, almost certainly as a consequence of the swell, which tends to cause people to lie low!

Like most others on the ship tonight, we also opted for an early night. We are hoping for a good night’s sleep, so we’ll be ready for tomorrow when we dock in Ålesund, Norway.
